The East India Company

Way back in 1600 a group of traders created a trading company dealing in silk, spices, tea and other sought after and precious commodities. It was known as The East India Company and still exists.

Today from its flagship store in London’s Mayfair in Conduit Street The East India Company sells a range of luxury, gourmet foods sourced from many countries and top quality producers. It is an elegant store selling many different varieties of tea, chocolate, coffee, wines, jams, mustard and biscuits, gift sets, hampers and accessories, many with links to the fascinating history of The East India Company.

Chocolates and Sweet and Savoury biscuits

Amongst its goodies is a new range of chocolates, including spice infused ganaches, fruit infused caramels, and a milk and dark truffle selection.

And then there is the truly delicious luxury biscuit collection including Caramel & Sea Salt inspired by the original sea salt and sugar voyages made by The East India Company at the turn of the 16th century; Seville Orange Marmalade made from their own marmalade; Cherry Chocolate & Chilli and Spices Biscuits; along with its regular selection of Butter Galettes, Butter Shortbread & Clotted Cream Biscuits, Ginger Nut Biscuits and Traditional English Digestive Biscuits.

There is also a super selection of savoury biscuits including Mustard & Coriander, Black Peppercorn, Blue Cheese & Sea Salt, and Admiral’s Reserve Cheese.

But our all-time favourites are the filled ‘nibbles’ biscuits, delicious bites of wafer-thin crisp, flaky biscuit filled with a soft, creamy centre – perfect with a pre-dinner drink. Choose from English Stilton Biscuits, Indian Spices Biscuits and our particular favourite the Roquefort Cheese Filled Biscuits.

Prices of the biscuits range from £4.95 to £5.95.
