EVA Air Meal Service Series

To cater for the growing demand for luxury air travel, EVA Air has unveiled its brand new “Story Island – Round the World” in-flight meal service series.

Created by Taiwan’s album cover designer and four-time Grammy Award nominee Xiao Qing-Yang, the intrinsically designed tablecloth, traditional menus and wine list have been introduced in EVA Air’s Royal Laurel, Premium Laurel and Business Class cabins 2015.

Using traditional Chinese paper cutting techniques to depict Taiwan and its fauna, they depict designs that see the destination as a centre piece surrounded by native species. Dragonflies, Formosan sika deer and butterflies are all set on a background of warm, natural earth tones .

EVA Air menus, with dishes that can be ordered in advance, include such main course treats as Braised lamb with artichokes and olives, saffron rice with chorizo or a Seafood ragu with a mushroom sauce with mixed vegetables and fettuccine; whilst the starters include dishes like Peppers and champagne terrine.

The wine list includes Veuve Cliquot champagne, French and German wines, Sake, plus cocktails and digestifs.

EVA Air flies daily from London Heathrow to Taipei, via Bangkok, offering passengers a choice of three classes of cabin service: Royal Laurel Class (Business Class), award-winning Elite Class (Premium Economy) and Economy Class.
