Blason de Bourgogne Wines

Lovers of Burgundy might like to try a bottle of Blason de Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune; a medium bodied wine made from the Pinot Noir grape.

Tasting notes mention lots of dark berry fruits, with ‘hints of floral aromas (peonies in particular)’.

We weren’t able to pick up the floral notes but did detect spicy, liquorice-tinged overtones and a certain astringency from the tannins

Available from Morrisons RRP £11.99.
